The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit www.tricare.mil/shutdown

Important Information

Starting Nov. 8, 2021, we’ll be experiencing decreased appointment availability in our Family Care Clinic for urgent care. This decrease is temporary and is expected to resolve by Jan. 3, 2022.

We’ll continue to provide Family Care appointments for:

  • Chronic long-term medical needs
  • Follow-ups
  • Referrals
  • Medication renewals
We want to ensure all of our beneficiaries continue to have resources and access to care available.

Same Day Appointment Needs

During the decrease in appointment availability, if you feel you need to be seen within the next 24 hours you may:

  • Call 9-1-1 if you’re at risk of loss of life, limb, or eyesight, and/or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
  • Make a same-day and next-day appointment, which are both limited. Next-day appointments will be released for booking at 12:00 p.m. one day in advance. These appointments may be booked by calling 720-847-9355.
  • Seek health care advice 24/7 from the Nurse Advice Line (NAL), if no same-day or next-day appointments are available. The NAL may be reached at 1-800-874-2273 or www.MHSNurseAdviceLine.com.
  • Seek care at a network urgent care clinic without a referral, if you feel you need medical care within 24 hours (Family members only).
This decrease in appointment availability will not impact our Women’s Health Clinic, Pediatrics Clinic, Warrior Operational (Active Duty) Medicine Clinic, Flight Medicine Clinic, Mental Health Clinic, Dental Clinic, Physical Therapy Clinic, or any other ancillary services.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these changes.
