Women's Health & Pregnancy
Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care as well as health issues that are unique to women, including:
- Pregnancy
- Menopause
- Conditions of the Female Organs
Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.
Our goal is to ensure the health and readiness of all women at every stage of life.
Women’s Health Services
Women’s Health & Pregnancy at the 460th Medical Group – Buckley Space Force Base consists of Women’s Health services.
We offer walk-in contraceptive services on Tuesdays 10 - 11 a.m. at the Medical Group North (Building 600). These services are open to all female TRICARE Prime beneficiaries enrolled to the 460th Medical Group.
Appointments with the Women’s Health Clinic may be scheduled by calling 719-526-2273.

TRICARE Covered Services
TRICARE covers well-woman exams annually for women under age 65 with no cost-share or copayment. TRICARE offers coverage for many women’s health services, including:

Important Information about Newborns
Newborn Registration
- Register your newborn by calling the TOPA (registration) at 720-512-1179, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- If unable to reach, please leave a detailed message and a call back number.
Newborn Appointments
- After registration, call the appointment line at 719-526-2273 to book a newborn appointment.
- Newborn appointments are prioritized and should be seen within 3-5 days of birth.
If an appointment can't be scheduled within this timeframe, contact us at the Buckley Pediatrics Clinic through the
MHS GENESIS Patient Portal and we will call you directly to arrange an appointment. Alternatively, you can come into the clinic and talk with our front desk staff to schedule an appointment.
Enroll in a TRICARE Plan
After your first appointment with us, get registered with TRICARE.

- Please bring all discharge paperwork and baby's SSN and Birth Certificate if already acquired.
- Once you receive your baby's official birth certificate in the mail, you can finalize the registration process.
Having a baby is a qualifying life event allowing all family members to change plans. Visit the
