A message to our beneficiaries about MHS GENESIS Patient Portal!
On April 24, 2021, the 460th Medical Group will transition to the DoD’s Military Health System’s new Electronic Health Record (EHR)—MHS GENESIS. The week prior to Go-Live and the 6 weeks that follow, we anticipate prolonged appointment times and a few delays as our medical staff navigates new work flows, procedures, and processes to improve the patient care experience. Our patients may encounter less appointment availability, longer pharmacy wait times, and longer wait times for labs and radiology results. In addition, Tricare Online will migrate to a new interface called Patient Portal which will be located at
www.patientportal.mhsgenesis.health.mil.
The MHS Genesis Patient Portal puts you in control of your healthcare! It gives you secure access to your EHR 24/7 and allows you to reach your health care team when and where it’s convenient for you. It is a secure website that allows patients access to their health records, send secure messages, request prescription refills, book appointments and more! Patients will be able to continue to use their current DoD Self-Service Logon (DS Logon), or patients new to the platform are able to enroll now via the following link:
