Face Mask Required at the 460th MDG All Patients Must wear a Face Mask!

All vaccinated and non-vaccinated personnel are required to wear a face mask upon entering all medical group locations:
  • Building 600: 275 S Aspen Street, Aurora, Colorado 80011

  • Building 392: 18230 E Silvercreak Street, Aurora, Colorado 80011

  • Building 35: 17890 E Steamboat Avenue, Aurora, Colorado 80011

  • Pharmacy (Building 7): 317 North Telluride Street, Aurora, Colorado 80011

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves we must continue to adapt installation policies and preventive actions to appropriately balance protecting base personnel with ensuring continued mission effectiveness and satisfactory quality of life. The higher headquarters (HHQ) Public Health policies are in effect for Buckley Garrison and tenant units on or near Aurora, Colorado.
  • Wear of Face Coverings: Individuals that are fully vaccinated (two weeks have passed since the last shot in the series) are encouraged but not required to wear a facemask on base, with the exceptions of the Child Development Centers, Youth Center, and Medical facilities. All other individuals must wear masks at all times unless in their private residence.

  • Non-fully vaccinated individuals must continue to wear a mask at all times while on the installation, except for their personal residence on base housing or when driving their POV. The mask mandate applies to all indoor and outdoor spaces and is regardless of the ability to physically distance. Service members will follow their service specific guidance for fitness and fitness assessments.

  • Non-fully vaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks in congregate settings including dorms and barracks. Required mask wear extends to the common spaces occupied by these cohabitating personnel (e.g., shared kitchens, bathrooms, and break rooms within the dormitory).

  • Supervisors of civilian employees may not inquire about or verify the vaccination status of civilian employees. For purposes of determining whether a civilian employee must wear a mask on military installations, unmasked civilian employees may be asked to confirm vaccination status only if the supervisor has a reasonable basis to believe the unmasked employee has not been fully vaccinated, based on reliable evidence such as firsthand knowledge of voluntary employee statements. Please contact the Legal Office and Civilian Personnel with questions.
